Appearences play a very important role . and mostly the students a freashers ignore it . I have seen the placement tests in my college , some students just go too casually . The effect that can have is that they are not at all interested in the job or may be they are just too cool to be of any serious thought . They get rejected at the first go .A;so there are people who over do it , maybe because they are mistaken that they can impress the HR with that .
