Spyware

Not only does a computer need a virus protection that is good in the computer, surely needs spyware these days.

Spyware can infect a computer as bad a virus can if not worse. I know myself my computer would go crazy, slow down, programs were giving me problems. After talking to some people about these problems I was able to find out that there are progams and popups that will automatically put spyware on your computer and you dont even know they did it.

I have tried several diffrent spywares. Which some of them even come with thier own spyware built in it. Recently a friend told me to go to microsoft downloads and get the window defender. After loading that in my system I have not had any problems since then.

I've used the bearshare filesharing program for years now and recently they made it so you couldn't remove the spyware. It might seem like a good idea for them so that people buy the bearshare pro without the spyware but I think they are going to loose all their market share. Bearshare in my opinion was the best fileshareing program out there.

Anyone have spyware related stories such as mine?

Yes i used that for years and they did as you said they did. Annoying to use. A friend of mine told me of another program that is like bearshare and just as easy to use Shareaza.

I really like it. Does not come with spy wear and works the same as bearshare.

I don't like that sort of application like Bearshare and Shareaza because in my view they have a decent load of spyware. I may be wrong but that's my impression. Nowadays all sorts of shareware programs come with "friendly" bars that often slow my PC considerably. I hate the ones not listed in Add/Remove programs. Then I just start my adaware remover...

I have to agree with you on shareware and the adware that is not detectable till after you download it and start running to find out they have filled your computer with all types of stuff and some so hard to detect and then get off. Some of it seem you think you get off and pop here it is in another place...
