The Rock - better as wrestler or an actor?

Since The Rock is very well know in the Wrestling scene but also as actor I was wondering what do you think ? Do you like him better as actor or do your rather see him in the ring ?

I really enjoy seeing him in the ring, but I do think he is a good actor. I have seen the movies The Scorpion King and Walking Tall and both are very good. I think he is very good in both things.

I don't think he is as good as an actor as he is as wrestler. He is a fantastic WWF fighter. I loved his people's elbow. His presense in the ring electrified the audience. Yeah, he is good at acting. It would be better for us as a WWF fan to see him wrestler in WWF. I was preety dissapointed when I heared that he is now not coming to the arena. :(

I think "ROCK" is an all time favorite wrestler.

he gives a new start to WWF.........he is simply best in the ring.........

He just elctrify the arena ......... i m crazy abt his evry fight .......

But i think he should adopt his real role........ a wrestler's role.....rather than being an actor.........

Exactly, then why had he chosen his career to become an actor rather than a wrestler in which he had made thousand no millions of fans....?

Well I guess he decided to become a actor because he is making more mone with movies. Maybe he wants to be taken more seriously than as just a wrestler ! I really like him as wrestler, but also as actor. Maybe he just wanted a second career in cae wrestling is not working for him anymore. But my guess would be that he just wants to be seen as a good actor and be taken seriously. Wrestling is also acting, but they are not taken as seriously as a movie actor.

I can say that I didn't like Hulk Hogan as actor. he is horrorible in that, he should stay working as a wrestler. I think the rock made a good decision though. :D

If you really think about it, wrestling is all about performing. I know they get hurt and all, just not as bad as it looks. The Rock took the next logical step when he took up acting. Wouldn't you rather the stunt double took the beating for you while you still took the money?

That's RITE! I like the Rock as an actor! He's funny and so far all his movies are enjoyable, unlike Steven Seagal.

I hate Steven Segal. He is such a joke. Have you ever seen the guy on Mad TV impersonate him. It's a riot. His ex-wife, "don't hate me because I'm beautiful", Kelly LeBrock was on Celebrity Fat, uh I mean Fit Club on VH1. Now I love her because she is fat like me.

You are totally right with this ! And I am sure he is making more money being a actor in movies then in the ring. Is he even still wrestling beside acting ? I haven't seen wrestling in ages so I have no idea ?! Would be interesting to know though. It is like models they know at some point they get too old and have to do something else in order to make money. I think it is the same with wrestling. If he don't want to do it for the rest of your life you have to do something else. To pick up acting is quite smart and a good choice.

It is a smart move. Have you seen the show Hogan knows Best? Watching that old geezer take a beating really hurts to watch. Then you see him getting into endorsements. How else are they gonna make a living? You'd think they had enough money stashed away somewhere. But it's never enough is it? Even in my penny world.

I do like him as an actor. He is better than Arnold Shwartzenegger. Now look at Ahnuld, governor of California. Maybe it will be President Duane someday.

Personally, I think he is better as a wrestler. He was entertaining to watch. He isn't even that good of an actor, but I guess that doesn't really matter for him because he is making money. I don't know how much wrestling pays, but the more acting they do, the more money they get!

I watched Hogan Knows Best and love watching it. But I do think he was better as wrestler. But he is entertaining in his show as well. Does anybody have any opinion about Brooke signing ? Is Nick going to be a wrestler as well ? I am quite sure they have enough money put to site, but I am also sure you can never have enough !I must say I did like their old house better then the new one. The new one looks very cold while their old one looks very warm and nice and wasn't it directly at the water ?

Brooke Hogan? Her singing is alright. I don't think shell be a star anytime in the near-future but she will still make money. The thing is, when your already a star, you don't have to be good, your just going to make the money anyways.

I think you are right. Brooke was luck to have a famous father. I don't think she would have had the chance to be a singer if she was a regular girl with working parents that nobody knew. There are girls that sing better then her and never will have a chance of being a singer. I think if you have a famous parent or you are famous you can do whatever you want and you still make money like Paris Hilton. I wonder what Nick Hogan is going to do, I am sure something with help from his father as well !?
