Increasing fuel prices in India

In India, fuel prices are at a high. its better if govt. makes it to rs 100 directly. This system of rs 4/- a litre embarres me and my countrymen too. As it is, it's better to go on a bicycle rather than a car/motorcycle.

What can the government do, when international crude oil prices have been raging upwards? We as a citizen can only wait to let market cool down. May be! :(

yes that is correct to let the prices cool down. But untill they do what can we do to get a better price of gas and what can we do to make our cars better perform with out using so much.

We have a ford taurus that is a 2003. In it it has the universal engine to use the reg octane gas or we can use the ethenol. Guess what we are using? Yes the ethenol gas.

Regular gas prices here are 3.08 .9 per gallon. We are able to get the ethenol for 1.99.9 a gallon.

Since we have been using this type of fuel we have not notice any diffrent in car preformance nor have we used more gas.

I have seen and read lately car manufactors are making for 2007 more cars and trucks that are able to run on either type of gas.

I would say if some one is thinking about getting a new car or truck to wait till they come out. In a long run the savings on fuel will be great.
