Nice self-written poems

...I wrote this on Cameron’s Highland 10-2-2005

In the glazed greenery of hedge and ivy
And edible strawberries
The lilies are white, remote and extreme
Would they become our guardians?
...but what if they're just as barbarian?


Note: I was on Chinese New Year break at Cameron’s. Looking at the strawberries, huge lilies, cactus so menacingly threatfull yet so sereneously lovely...I was thinking that they’re talking about us!!! Seriously...

Nice poem, I wonder if I could hv made that but one querry, how can these cute cute flowers can become barbarian.
They are so lovely and beautiful. they can't harm us only they can please us.

remember a hans andersen story (i can't recall its tittle though) about the pair of tragic lovers separated by a tyranic brother?

...the poem was somewhat inspiried by the wrath of that lily spirit's barbaric nature, imagine it seeping into the tyranic brother's ear while he was sleeping and killing him

Ohhh, I haven't read that story but one thing is for sure that even lily which is so beautiful, can be so harsh that can even kill somebody.

hehe only when the love and wrath is strong enough to summon out the spirits from behind the soft seemingly vulnarable petals ^^

oh and be careful of nettles stings, they always grow near pretty blossoms
