How to start a business

Hi guys, I know it sounds weird but could any of you guide me a little about starting up a business??

There this really cute friend of mine thinking bout starting his own business but god he's clueless lol

so generally, what are the things to look at when you want to start your own business?

The key is to do your research - find out whether people want what it is you have to sell, how much they're prepared to pay for it, what kinds of people will want your service or product, where they are and how how to reach them, who else is selling the same thing and what kind of edge your product or service has over theirs.

That's only a start, but I hope it helps.

Remind your friend, too, that just because you're really good at doing a particular thing doesn't mean you will be good at running a business. Running a business takes a very different set of skills than, say, painting houses or designing web sites. You could be a really good house painter but suck at running a house painting business.
