they say the first cut is always the deepest
it's a miracle that the two of you are still keeping in touch

i remember my first love was sweet too,
high school love
when we're younger, things can get so steamy so fast,
but it ended pretty badly, and we're not even talking now, more like, lost contact totally

so, i'd say it's a good thing that you two are keeping in touch, at least you'll treasure the moments you've shared before :)

Hey, Its cool that lhee4lyf can need a guy. Everyone needs a little love from time to time.

I remember my first big crush. I can still remember his name even though it was when I was in middle school. We were in strings together. I played the cello he played the violin and his girlfreind played the viola. :x Luckily I moved away before doing anything stupid. At the time I thought he was refined but thinking back on the situation I wonder if he really wasn't gay and didn't know it yet.

First Love

It's funny thinking back to people you were madly in love with when you were very young - they were all gay, married, twenty years older than you, or otherwise absolutely not a possibility.

Has anyone out there actually formed a real relationship with their first love, or even married them?

Hmmm...that's a really interesting thought. I bet something like that is really uncommon. You might as well be asking for a cinderella story.

First Love huh?

Hi!

How do we really know if the first relationship we really had was of love relationship?

I mean you think you fall in love, spend many months or days with that person, than break up for some reason or another, but then after sometimes you fall in love again, think back and say 'I was never really in love before, this is real love, it was infetuation or some other thing before'.

So how do you know who your first love was?

heheh

What is lo-o-o-o-o-ove anyway?

That's a very good point, schiphaxa - what is the difference between real love and just an infatuation, and how can we tell one from the other?

Does real love only come once in a lifetime? Or maybe never at all?

First love is the topic

yes that could also be a good question. What is real love?

actually I also remember something of my first love, but now I wonder if it was love at all.

I mean when it was, it was beatiful, didnt even want to let go, even when I knew it was not working out and took a couple of years to get over.

But I now I wonder if it was really love, if so why I dont feel it anymore.

It's Bittersweet love

I remember waiting for my love to arrive, always...
wanting to be with him,
wanting to talk to him,
wanting to see him

Remember wondering..
if this was how it was supposed to be
if I was doing the right thing

What I think is that we tend to romanticise our emperience a little too much after the fact.

After we break up and get over the pain and heartache of breaking up, we tend to forget the painful and hard part that we experience with the sweet

Love, like life, comes with pain.

So I think Love, first or otherwise, memories are more bitterwseet.

Well said. I agree and that's why we all want to test that bittersweet. Its lovely to remeber all those good as well as painfull memories. but if your lover gets another lover in front of your eyes then it becomes more bitter than ever and I don't like that taste.
